1996 April 1 Florida Marlins Souvenir Ticket and Holder/Lanyard SGA NationsBank This is a Florida Marlins stadium giveaway to all fans from the Opening Day game April 1, 1996 Vs the Pittsburgh Pirates at Joe Robbie Stadium. The Pirates shutout the Marlins 4-0 with Keven Brown taking the loss. It was the Pirates Jason Kendall's debut game. The lanyard is in new unused condition and the souvenir ticket has a slight indentation (seen in the photos) from storage of the lanyard/ticket over the string knot since 1996. It measures 8.25" X 4.25" (height X width). Opening Day attendance was 41,815 and conceivably that many fans received the stadium giveaway that day. NationsBank merged with Bank of America in 1998.
