Those with a 215HP and 180HP engines will see a slightly reduced power increase from the advertised HP rating. This can be easily overcome by mild pump tuning, fuel plate, delivery valves etc. Notes for 89-93: The VE fuel injection pump does not produce as much pressure or volume as the P7100 supplied on the 1994-1998 Dodge Ram. Consequently the 1991.5-1993 intercooled engine will see a lower HP increase... approxiamately 1/2 the advertised HP and 2/3 the advertised torque. This vehicle can also have more power by way of tuning and pump modifications. If you have a 1989-1991 non intercooled truck please contact me for the correct nozzles and spray pattern, these came with dirty 155* 4 hole nozzles that were much larger than the later intercooled models and will need a larger nozzle to see power increase.
